As I sat there with Mateo and Daisy by my feet, I noticed a flutter in her tummy. Ah, Luna is pregnant. I wondered if she knew yet, but life was within her, and I could tell they would be twins. An immense joy filled me. Daisy was a beautiful person and a fierce Luna to her pack. She will make a terrific mother. I looked at her beautiful face and stroked her back. Her chocolate eyes beamed at me, and we mind linked. “Congratulations daughter!!!” I said. She howled with joy . Mateo nudged his mate, and they were simply beaming together. Their babies reminded me of a different time, different water front at the beginning of it all.
