Anasoara: My eyes open to my room, with little memory of the night before. The last thing I remember was getting lost in the club, but for some reason I feel as though I am missing something. Nevertheless, the sun still rose and signaled to its followers to stop being lazy and get on with life. So that is what I am doing, getting on with life. Mysteriously, I have no hangover. I should just be lucky that that drinking bender was not as bad as I had thought it had been, but I am so curious about how I went shot for shot with no hangover. Weird! Finally, I muster the will to get out of the comfort of my warm bed and plush sheets. I make my way over to the bathroom, avoiding the mirror in fear of what I may look like, and take a brief shower to reenergize myself. After, I quickly towel dry my unruly hair, and must up what's left of my dignity to look at myself in the mirror. I find my messy dark hair, obsidian eyes, and lightly tanned skin. But, wait... what is this on my neck? I just knew I could not get away scot-free, stupid, drunk me must have slept with some stranger or at the very least engaged in a make-out session, as I was staring at a red swollen love bite, with some weird teeth marks that pierced my skin. That is just lovely.  I decide to wear a turtle-neck under my scrubs for the clinic in an effort to hide this, this stupid mark. Right before I could really check what time it was, feed my dog who is barking at me, or anything else for that matter, my phone starts blaring its annoying song it does when my friend calls. Try listening to the song "Friday" by Rebecca more than once and tell me it doesn't get annoying.  I follow the noise to its source and find it right on my nightstand, with my cute little Newfoundland Boo Radley hot on my heels, still barking at me for breakfast. I turn to my dog and say comfortingly, "I know buddy, you're hungry. Mommy's going to get some food for you! I promise!" To emphasize my promise and efforts, I pet him and give him a hug, to which he settles down enough for me to look at my now silent phone and find many missed calls and about a million texts. Instead of trying to read the messages, I opt to just call. She picks up almost immediately, "OMG, I thought you were dead! And now you're late for work! What's going..." She begins, but I cut her off, "Look, I don't remember much after me trying to find you after using the restroom. Somewhow, I made it back home, and haven't looked at the time or anything that would stress me out and cause early heart failure. I let loose though, like you asked, and I am sorry for scaring you! Since I am already late can you hold down the fort and I will come bearing Starbucks?" She instantly replies, "Damn right you're going to make it up to me! See you soon! Please be safe." So I do my last couple of responsibilities rushedly in order to make it to the OR for my pet patients on time. I grab Boo's collar and leash and head out the door. I walk him around the block, so he can do his morning business, and then he can go to my special section in the clinic for him today. I start to feel this weird feeling as soon as I step outside of my home, but this feeling is familiar... but how? I am just going to brush it off, I live out in the more rural side of town, so it is probably just an animal or something. Just to be sure though, I did a light jog with Book to the car and headed to work. Unknown POV: I miss her already and I just dropped her off at home. She is not ready to know me, last night was way too fast for her. I just wish I could move this along and know her, and keep her forever. I must go see her today, or more like that would be ideal. However, being five hundred something years old comes with responsibility, and royal duties to uphold.  But I do think I will give her memory a little jog.  nu mă tem niciodată de iubirea mea, vei fi cu mine în curând (Never fear my love, you will be with me soon). I write this little note and leave it on her night stand where she keeps her phone, so she will see and know its me.
