As they lay in bed together, the warm sunlight streaming through the window cast a golden glow on Olivia's face. Benjamin's eyes were drawn to her, and he felt his heart swell with emotion. He reached out to stroke her hair, his fingers tangling in the soft locks.
"I love you, Benjamin," Olivia whispered, her voice barely audible. "I want to be with you forever."
Benjamin's heart skipped a beat as he looked into Olivia's eyes. He saw the sincerity and longing there, and it tore at his heart. He knew he couldn't say the same, not yet, not while he was still married to Sophia.
"Olivia, I..." he began, his voice trailing off.
Olivia's face fell, and she looked away, trying to hide her tears. Benjamin felt a sudden feeling of guilt, knowing he had hurt her. He reached out to pull her close, but she resisted, her body stiff and unyielding.
"Please, Olivia, don't be upset," Benjamin whispered, his lips brushing against her ear. "I care about you deeply, but I'm still married. I don't know what the future holds for us."
Olivia's body began to shake, and Benjamin realized she was crying. He felt a wave of regret wash over him, knowing he had caused her pain.
Just then, Benjamin's phone buzzed on the bedside table. He hesitated for a moment before picking it up. His heart sank as he saw Sophia's name flashing on the screen.
"Benjamin, where are you?" Sophia's voice was tight with anxiety. "I've been trying to reach you all day. I need to talk to you about something urgent."
Benjamin's mind went blank as he stared at Olivia, who was still crying softly beside him. He knew he had to take the call, but he was torn between his duty to Sophia and his desire to comfort Olivia.
"I'll call you back, Sophia," Benjamin said finally, his voice firm but hesitant. "I'm in a meeting right now."
Sophia's voice was skeptical. "A meeting? At this time of day? Benjamin, what's going on?"
Benjamin's heart was racing as he tried to think of a statement excuse. But before he could respond, Olivia suddenly sat up in bed, her eyes blazing with anger.
"Tell her, Benjamin," Olivia spat, her voice venomous. "Tell her about us."
Benjamin's eyes widened in horror as he realized what Olivia was about to do. He tried to grab the phone from her, but it was too late.
Olivia's eyes sparkled with determination as she sat in front of her mirror, admiring her reflection. She had a plan to make Benjamin forget all about Sophia, and it was going to be a masterpiece.
She began by applying a sultry scent to her wrists and neck, the aroma gradually up to tease her senses. Next, she slipped into a stunning red dress, the fabric hugging her curves in all the right places. She felt a surge of confidence as she gazed at her reflection, her eyes flashing with seduction.
With a cunning smile, Olivia made her way to Benjamin's office, her heels clicking on the floor. She knew that Benjamin was working late, and she was determined to make the most of it.
As she entered his office, Benjamin looked up, his eyes widening in surprise. Olivia's heart skipped a beat as she saw the desire flicker in his eyes, and she knew that she had him right where she wanted him.
"Hey, Benjamin," Olivia lowered, her voice smoothly and seductive. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything important."
Benjamin's eyes roamed over her body, his gaze lingering on her curves. "Not at all," he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.
Olivia's smile grew wider as she stylishly walk to his desk, her hips swaying provocatively. She leaned in close, her breath whispering against his ear.
"I was thinking, Benjamin, that maybe we could work on that project together... over dinner."
Benjamin's eyes flashed with desire, and Olivia knew that she had him hooked. She could see the temptation written all over his face, and she knew that Sophia was the last thing on his mind.
As they made plans for dinner, Olivia couldn't help but feel a sense of triumph. She had Benjamin right where she wanted him, and Sophia was about to become a distant memory.
But just as things were going according to plan, Benjamin's phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen, and his expression faltered.
"What's wrong?" Olivia asked, her voice laced with concern.
"It's Sophia," Benjamin replied, his voice hesitant. "She wants to meet up for dinner tonight."
Olivia's heart sank, and she felt a surge of anger. Sophia was not going to ruin her plans, not now that she had Benjamin right where she wanted him.
"Don't worry, Benjamin," Olivia lowered, her voice dripping with seduction. "I'll take care of Sophia. You just focus on me."
Benjamin's eyes locked onto hers, and Olivia could see the desire burning brighter than ever. She knew that she had him, and Sophia was about to become a thing of the past.
But as Olivia turned to leave, she couldn't shake off the feeling that Sophia was not going to go down without a fight...
Olivia's eyes sparkled with persuasion as she leaned in close to Benjamin. "Come on, Benjamin, I'm telling you, it's the perfect plan," she whispered, her breath caressing his ear. "You'll marry Sophia, and we'll keep our little secret safe. No one will ever have to know."
Benjamin," he said, his voice firm but laced with a hint of frustration. "I still love Sophia, and I'm not going to betray her like that."
Olivia's expression turned cold, her eyes flashing with anger. "Fine, have it your way," she spat, her voice dripping with venom. "But don't say I didn't warn you. You're going to regret this, Benjamin."
The next day, Olivia strolled into the office, her head held high, and a smug smile plastered on her face. She made a direct route for the window, where she proceeded to park her brand-new car, a sleek, black Mercedes that Benjamin had bought for her.
As she stepped out of the car, Olivia couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and ownership. She had Benjamin wrapped around her finger, and she knew it.
The colleagues couldn't help but stare as Olivia began to show off her new car, growling the engine, and honking the horn. Benjamin watched from his office, his face expressionless, but his eyes burning with a mixture of anger and frustration.
"Wow, Olivia, that's quite a car you've got there," one of the colleagues said, whistling in admiration. "You must be doing something right."
Olivia smiled sweetly, her eyes sparkling with triumph. "Let's just say I have my ways," she said, winking at Benjamin, who looked away, his face darkening with anger.
As the day went on, Olivia continued to display her new car, making sure everyone in the office knew that Benjamin had bought it for her. Benjamin, on the other hand, remained silent, his anger and frustration simmering just below the surface.
But as the day drew to a close, Benjamin's phone buzzed with a text from Sophia. "Hey, Benjamin, I need to talk to you about something important. Can we meet up tonight?"
Benjamin's heart skipped a beat as he read the text. What did Sophia want to talk to him about? And how was he going to keep his secret safe?
As he looked up, he caught Olivia's eye, and she smiled sweetly at him, her eyes glinting with triumph. Benjamin knew he was in trouble, and he had a feeling that things were about to get a lot worse..
As Benjamin stepped into the house, he was met with a scene that made his heart sink. Sophia, his wife, was sitting on the couch, her body racked with sobs. The children, usually full of energy and laughter, were clinging to her, their small bodies shaking with tears. The air was thick with the sound of their collective weeping, and the scent of sadness hung heavy over the room.
Benjamin's eyes widened in shock as he took in the scene before him. He felt sudden shock of guilt and concern, and his instincts kicked in, telling him to comfort his family. He rushed over to the couch, dropping to his knees beside Sophia.
"Sophia, what's wrong?" he asked, his voice laced with concern. He wrapped his arms around her, trying to pull her close, but she pushed him away.
"You've changed, Benjamin," she sobbed, her eyes red and puffy. "You're never home, you don't spend time with the children... you don't even communicate with us anymore."
Benjamin felt a surge of defensiveness, but he pushed it aside, knowing that now was not the time. "Sophia, I'm sorry," he said, his voice soft and gentle. "I've been busy with work, but that's no excuse. I'll do better, I promise."
But Sophia just shook her head, her eyes filled with tears. "It's not just that," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "People have been talking... they say you're having an affair with Olivia."
Benjamin's eyes widened in shock, and he felt a wave of anger wash over him. "That's not true," he said, his voice firm. "I don't know who's been spreading those rumors, but they're lies."
Sophia looked up at him, her eyes searching for the truth. "I want to believe you, Benjamin," she said, her voice cracking. "But I've seen the way you look at her... the way you smile when she's around. You're distant with us, but with her, you're alive."
Benjamin felt a sudden shock of guilt, knowing that Sophia had seen the chemistry between him and Olivia. But he knew that it was innocent, that he had done nothing to betray his family.
"Sophia, I swear to you, there's nothing going on between me and Olivia," he said, his voice filled with conviction. "She's just a company's secretary. That's all."
But Sophia just shook her head, her eyes filling with tears once more. "I don't know if I can believe you, Benjamin," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I feel like I'm losing you, like you're slipping away from us."
Benjamin felt a surge of desperation, knowing that he had to make things right. He pulled Sophia into his arms, holding her close as she sobbed.
"I'm not going anywhere, Sophia," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion. "I love you, I love our family. I'll do whatever it takes to make things right."
But as he held Sophia, he couldn't shake the feeling that things were far from over. The accusations, the rumors, the tension between him and Sophia... it all seemed to be building towards something, a storm that was brewing on the horizon.
And then, just as things seemed to be calming down, the doorbell rang. Benjamin's heart sank as he got up to answer it, wondering who it could be.
As he opened the door, he was met with a surprise. Olivia was standing on the entrance, a look of concern on her face.
"Benjamin, I'm so sorry to interrupt," she said, her voice low and urgent. "But I need to talk to you. It's about Sophia's accusations... and the rumors that are spreading around the office."
Benjamin's heart sank, knowing that this was the last thing he needed. But he also knew that he couldn't ignore Olivia, not now.
"Come in," he said, stepping aside to let her in.
