Aria’s POV
I was starting to see that there were more truth strands in this perverse game than I had first thought. As I wandered the library, attempting to solve the conundrum, the rogue's letter continued to weigh heavily in my pocket. Though my mind was racing with unanswerable questions, one thing was certain: Killian's mysterious brother, Lucas, was concealing something.
I became suspicious when Killian sent him out earlier that morning after they had a weird conversation. Killian had said in a strong tone, "Stick to the plan." Lucas had nodded silently, but I could see the little expression of discomfort on his face.
