Pain was constant now, a dull throb deep within my bones. Veyron’s lair was dark and cold, but the chilling isolation was nothing compared to the agony that coursed through me. My body was still weak from the relics’ curse, and every breath felt like it could be my last. But despite everything, a part of me refused to succumb to the despair that had settled over me. The Moon Goddess had always been with me, even in my darkest moments. But now, I could feel something different, something deeper within me.
