Cato could still smell them as he and Boudicca fled across the plains. They kept heading south, towards the allied territory. The Britons wouldn't chase them into lands controlled by the Romans. The rain had been relentless for the last few hours. Cato's legs burnt from exertion, but he pressed on. Boudicca kept the pace hard and fast. “Are they still gaining on us?"
