CHAPTER TWO

RUNE'S POV;
The car takes a halt at a tall building,I step out of the car followed by Austin ast we walk into the building.Austin kept his hands in his pocket the whole we passed by the employees,I felt the lustful glances of the female employees behind us as we walked by,some even whispered only daring to shut up when Austin walked passed them ,of course they'd shut up their CEO was a cold faced strict fucker that only has business in mind .
The elevator was quiet ,the usual rushing of employees walking in took a turnover that morning, usually there'd be people rushing in to get to the top floors apparently giving space to their cold faced CEO.The elevator pinged at our stop the top floor which was where Austin's office was,the doors slid open as we stepped out.I glanced at a man who was sitting on the couch across casually crossing his leg like he owned the place, his hair was black with his blue eyes completing his breath taking looks he had a strong jawline and I could tell from the way he sat that he was tall.Our eyes met and I quickly turned away my ears hot out of embarrassment I had stared to long and I saw my brother who was sitting on his desk the man already sitting on a chair (When did my brother reach there) "Jerk" I mumbled.
By the looks of it ,my brother and that man we're obviously discussing something as Austin kept that serious look on his face his hands resting on the table.Austin glanced at me and signaled for me to get in my office making the man turn to look at me.I walked to my office just few meters away from Austin's,I could feel that man's gaze on my back but I chose to ignore it and opened the door closing it behind me.My office was small with loads of paperwork on my desk ,this was all temporary anyway and I'd be heading back to campus in a week,my brother had a way of using this at his advantage by giving me extra work which left me tired afterwards.I slumped on my chair, bringing out my laptop from a bag ,opened it and started typing.Ughhh work was tiring,is this what my brothers secretary had to go through everyday,at least he pays me well .I smiled to myself before taking out paper from the pile and signed them one after the other.
2 hours later........
My fingers where hurting now from all the signing I've been doing for a whole f*****g two hours,I need some coffee to keep me going.I stood up , walking out the door.
Austin was also busy with signing and looking at his computer from time to time copying something down in a notepad,he looked up from his work before calling out to me,I had already reached out the door handle by then "Where are you going, you have work"he said his eyes looking away from the screen "I want to get some coffee" I said in a rushed tone "then get me an iced Americano while your at it" Austin said without even looking up from his laptop "Fine!!".....
I reached the cafeteria,and placed my order for a coffee latte and iced Americano for Austin,I was handed a coffee bag by the woman at the counter with my cups of coffee in it "thank you" I said handing her a fifty dollar bill "keep the change" I said and walked towards the exit.
I pulled out my phone from my pocket unlocking it and checking the group chat ,500messages (these niggas got time)I thought to myself.I didn't notice someone Infront of me till I bumped into that person,goodness the coffee was put in a coffee bag if not I would have risked spilling coffee in someone," I'm so sorry "i said without even looking at that person,I wanted to walk away from there quickly when that person grabbed my hand preventing me from going any further, forcing me to look at that person,it was the man from earlier in Austin's office,I didn't even glance at him back then and now he was grabbing my hand in an awkward situation I was trying to get out from...........
