Chapter FiveSarah and James made tediously slow progress as they worked their way toward the yellow building in front of them. The camping store they had highlighted on the map was within sight, down the highway toward Geelong’s CBD. An unknown number of the infected creatures milled through the streets in between. Scattered cars were dotted through the car park in which they had found themselves. James had been eager to continue the journey on four wheels and had started to move toward the nearest car. Sarah pulled him back quickly, reminding him that the zombies seemed to be drawn toward noises and, no matter how safe they may be inside the car, there was no guarantee they would be able to make it out again.
