Second Wish Before The Mirror

Made a wish

It was late in the afternoon when Calista woke up from her sleep. The sky already dark and her room shrouded with darkness. She blink her eyes and get down from her bed. She switch on the lamp and walk to her bathroom to wash her face. After refreshed herself, she sit on her bed and stared to the abandoned mirror. She was aware about the strange air in her room since the mirror placed there. ‘Alyse didn’t put it away after it placed back here.’ she thought.

She recalled the day when she touched the glass and the way its reacted to her touch. How strange it was and a curiosity grown bigger the more she think about it. She knew a stories about magical treasure and she thought the possibility to experience one like now.

‘How if I put my hands on it like that day and see what happen’ She thought and stood up.‘Perhaps it’s a magical mirror that granted my wish’ She bit her lips and move forward with hope.

She walk closer slowly and kneel on the floor eyeing on her own image. She ignored a loud thumping sound that can be heard from her chest. She raised her hand and placed her palm to the glass reluctantly. As expected, the glass surface undulated to her touch. Her hands felt heavy as she start to feel dizzy but she keep her hand there and hold it.

She can't imagine it before but right now, she really can feel the energy. It swirling and twisting around her and seep inside her until  her body felt like floating in the air. The nervous and anxiety feeling with an unknown things made her gasp in astonishment. It was a strange feeling that she never experience before.

Without wasting a time, she close her eyes tightly and make a wish. She wasn’t sure if this actually will work, but she can sensed a strong energy that reassured her of what she did are right.  She decide to trust her instinct and ready to take a risk. Just in time, she whispered her wish smoothly

“I want to be a grown up woman..” but soon she added“No, at least a woman that can be like a man” the words she say echoed in her mind.

But then, she realized how foolish it was. Nevertheless, it was too late to regret. She bit he lips and endure the energy washed inside her like a strong waves.

Soon after, she saw a various image that she can't recognize, poured into her mind. She close her eyes tightly but the image didn’t leave her. A noises of people chattering combined with a various unknown noises keep coming in until her head ache. The more energy filled in her the more she felt light and suffocated. Her head spinning and it was pained. After feels like a century, the image around her slowly faded and finally replaced with a blank.

It was then, when she found herself laying on the comfy mattress. The rosy accent smelt in the air. She move her body aside but her head still spinning and that made her nausea. She sit effortlessly and check on her surrounding. She cant figure out of where it is and what happen. The only thing she knew is the same mirror that she touch a moment ago still there with her.

She shifted her body closer and take a look. A loud gasp come out from her lips when she saw a beautiful slender woman reflected before her eyes. She touch her delicate face and her fine body. It was her first time in her life to see such a breathtakingly appearance woman.. ‘Is this really me?’ She cant believe it and it wasn't too real for her.

She walk outside and looking around. It was a cozy apartment that complete with nice furniture. She can remember all happen in her adult life. Her father has passed away when she was 18 and her mother married with someone else and have her own families. Now she live alone all by herself. She has nobody and she rely on herself. She inherit all her father properties. Some of them goes to the charity and some goes to their servants as her father wish.

But no, when she racked her memories.. it feels complicated. It feels like she is in the whole another person body. She can find a pieces of difference memories that not matched hers. She doesn't pay attention on the details of her reflection before except for her face and body figure.

With that thought, she run to the mirror in the room again to confirm her doubt. When she look once again, she finally found something weird in her body.
