“Tell me how long have you known my daughter?” The woman asked with a calm voice but her demeanor made it seem like she was asking a rather serious question.
“About two years.” Gabriel replied, he didn’t know what to make of it as he entered the kitchen. The woman handed him a recipe and continued speaking.
“That’s an awfully long time before proposing to her.” The other said as she began cutting vegetables.
