“You don’t seem too fine… I noticed your eyes were a bit unfocused before… Are you sick?” Anna asked as she tilted her head to the side in a worried manner.
“You’re so observant…” Elizabeth remarked feeling a bit silly now that her friend knew that much. “I’ve been feeling a bit ill these days but it’s probably due to the pregnancy.”
“What? What? You’re having a baby? That’s so awesome! Wait… sorry… but weren’t you…?” Anna stopped herself from finishing the sentence.
“Infertile… Well I guess I never was, since the Doctor confirmed I was perfectly fine. Then yet it doesn’t make too much sense…” Elizabeth said as she looked down at the cleared table, the waitress had just brought her a new cup of coffee.
