When dinner was over, Nora went to the room to freshen up and Damon went to the study to make some calls. Sophia joined her mother in the kitchen.
“So what do you think of her?” Mrs Moreno asked as she washed the dishes. She had asked the maid servant to head to bed while she cleared up but the only thing she wanted was to have a conversation with her daughter.
“You already know what I think. I think I like her and I think she's good for Damon.”
“Yeah I think so too. I mean, look at the way she challenged him, much more, your brother was so obedient like the bird. He wouldn't even listen to me if I came out like him at that.” Mrs Moreno stated.
“I just hope everything will work out,” Sophia muttered and Mrs Moreno looked at her.
