The night ended and Lucy was taken back home by the driver that took her to Daniel's home earlier. Lucy had dropped her present for Daniel in his room with a letter so, he'd see it.
She now wondered why he looked not ecstatic about his birthday, he acted like he just threw the party for some irrelevant reason but it was his birthday... Lucy couldn't ask why because she doesn't share her problems with him and he wouldn't either, because of that. He had made it clear to her once.
