His Not So Human Mate

* Elina’s P.O.V.

I have fantastic hearing and I know what I heard. “Mate” it stuck in the back of my head on repeat. What does that even mean? I watched them as they went into another room. What the hell is going on? I grabbed my phone still no text from Ethan and the Uber should be here in an hour. I searched the web “mate” all that came up were these fiction books about werewolves nothing else. I heard the door come swinging back open.

“Elina, my apologies for my rude nephew!” Jonah said headed back towards the kitchen to make more tea.

“Hi I’m Ash!” he said in a sexy deep voice. He was literally a god! His beautiful black hair that was cut perfectly on the sides and long on the top. Perfect blue eyes with small specks of gold, pearl white teeth that were amazingly straight and a muscular body bigger than Ethan’s. If he’d move any closer to me I’d melt.

“ I-I’m Elina!” I stutter out.

“What a beautiful name Elina!” Why did him saying my name instantly make my spot between my legs on fire? Why is he smiling at me like that? “So do you live close?” I blurt out.

“I do and about that, I don’t think your Uber is coming, they normally don’t travel out here.” He said now with worry on his face.

“Ohhh well Jonah can you still take me home?” I yell into the kitchen

“I have a spare room back at my place if you’d like to shower and sleep for the night and I can take you back to town in the morning myself?” Making me turn back to him.

“Are you sure? I don’t want to be a burden?” I don’t want him to think that I want to stay and not go home which is not true. I wanna be closer to him. Why do I feel this way I just got dropped off in the middle of nowhere from Ethan on our one year!

He smiled. “Not a problem at all, shall we go?”

I grab his hand. “It was nice meeting you Jonah!”

“Nice meeting you, don’t be a stranger now, you’re welcome here anytime!” I heard him yell from the kitchen.

Why are they both so nice? I should feel like this is a trap and I’m about to get kidnapped I watched the movies I also took karate but I don’t feel that at all, I feel safe and protected here.

We didn’t drive a long distance but I noticed there was a lot of little cabins around a huge mansion like castle. It looks like a huge village, but why are they out here in the middle of the wood deep into the forest?

“This is your house?” I blurted out

“Yes but there is something you should know! He spoke slowly

“What you robbed a bank and now you live out here in the middle of nowhere hiding?” I joked

“No, I didn’t rob a bank but I do live with a bunch of family’s!” He sweetly spoke.

“Ohhh!” As we’re walking into the mansion we were greeted by a beautiful woman.

“Elina this is my mother, Edith, mom this is Elina she will be staying for the night can you have someone go clean up a guest room?”

“It’s nice to meet you Elina and I will let someone know right away” she smiled.

Did he just give his mom an order?
