Blair was now twenty one years old, the last two years seemed to fly by yet also be so slow. If it wasn't for Ames and the other warriors that she became close to she wasn't sure she would still be ok mentally. They each brought so much comfort to her in an awful time. She had no idea how much of the debt has been paid off, but she knew Harley wouldn't let her still be in this situation for no reason. The relationship between Blair and the Alpha was still pretty much the same.

He acted like they were mates despite what he was putting her through.

" Blair are you happy?" he asked her one night after they just finished having s*x.

" What do you mean?" she asked as she cuddled upto him.

" Like with me? The life we have together?" he asked her.

That's a strange question she thought to herself.

" I guess so" she replied to him.

" You guess?" he asked getting a little irritated.

Blair sighed " Alpha Dominic it's not something I was expecting you to ask. Is this how I expected my life to be, of course not. But am I happy with how things are currently? yes" she told him as he seemed to relax.

" I wish you were my mate this just feels right" he told her giving her a kiss.

Blair didn't respond if she had it her way Ames would be her mate, but clearly for everyone the moon godess had other plans. Whatever that was anyway. Even Alpha Dominic still didn't have his mate yet.

" I've been thinking of a gift to get you for being such a good girl for two years, I think I've figured it out" he told her.

Blair smiled " I really don't need anything" she told him.

" You do thought. You deserve anything you want" he told her.

Blair knew better then to ask for her freedom that was all she really wanted. The freedom to do whatever she wanted without being watched and protected. The freedom to sleep with whoever she wanted because she wanted to not for money. The freedom to see her father not behind bars.

" Alright fine what were you thinking?" she asked him.

He leaned in and kissed her again as he laid Down on top of her. She kissed him back like she always did. He pulled away from her mouth and started to kiss her neck, Blair closed her eyes enjoying the feeling of his lips on her neck.

" Be my chosen mate. I want to mark you. Right now" he told her.

Blair's eyes instantly shot open. An instant wave of panick shot through her she needed to get him off of her this second. Everything in her body was shouting at her not to let him. Her only chance of getting a normal life was paying the debt off, if she allowed him to mark her she would forever be by his side.

" Dom, Dominic I don't want to. Please get off of me" she begged of him as her body started to squirm trying to break free.

" Blair this is the first time you've ever used my name without my title. That shows you want me to. It's ok to be nervous, I'm a little scared myself " he told her not moving off of her.

" I don't want you to mark me" she said to him raising her voice.

" It's ok it will be over before you know it" he told her.

Blair gave him a sharp punch to the side of his head. He finally gave her the ability to get out from under him as he leaned up putting a hand to his head.

" What the f**k Blair?" He yelled in all his Alpha power causing the house to shake.

Blair ran to the door trying to escape but he was obviously quicker then her and grabbed onto her arm.

" Dominic stop" Blair pleaded as she started to cry.

The door shot open a few seconds later to Leo and a few other warriors looking ready to fight, what were they were walking into they obviously didn't know.

" Alpha Dominic what's going on?" one of the warriors asked him.

" Get her out of my sight right now. Before I do something I'll regret " he told them.

Leo grabbed onto her other arm as the Alpha let go of her. She hadn't seen him this angry since he found out Reamus and the other warriors were assaulting her. Leo and the other warriors took her outside they clearly didn't want her across the hall from him, which she didn't want to be either.

" I don't know what happened but you should probably stay away from him for awhile. Don't put us in a position where we need to keep you safe from the Alpha" one of the warriors spoke as they walked away leaving her with Leo.

Leo waited until the other had left when he finally spoke up " Blair what happened?I heard you guys f*****g, then silence. Then

him screaming at you" he told her as he sat down beside her on a bench outside.

Blair instantly started to cry and her whole body began to shake " Whoa whoa Blair talk to me" he told her wrapping his arms around her in a tight hug.

" He, he tried to mark me. I told him no, he wouldn't let me go. I punched him to get him away from me" she told him through sobs.

" That son of a b***h" he growled still holding onto her.

" I really f****d up" she told Leo.

" You did nothing to deserve that. To deserve any of this" he told her picking her up without warning.

He went to the front of the pack house and placed her into a truck. Blair had never been in anything other then the hummer so this was strange. Leo buckled her into the truck and got into the driver's seat taking off instantly.

" Where are we going?" she asked him still sobbing.

" My house. Just trust me" he told her.

Blair cried off and on the entire drive. Leo kept reaching over and stroking her hand or leg trying to get her calm. Once they arrived at his house the front door opened and Ames ran out, Blair opened the truck door and instantly ran into his arms.

" Blair calm down you're ok now" he told her hugging onto her tightly.

" Ames we need to get her inside now" Leo spoke as he looked all around making sure no one was watching them.

Ames picked her up bridal style and carried her into the house. Leo followed behind them closing the door.

" Blair you need to listen to me" Leo spoke as Ames carried her to the couch holding onto her tightly.

" Under no circumstances do you allow yourself to be alone with him in his bedroom anymore. I let Ames and the others know what's going on, we are all prepared to fight for you if he tries. It will make our job alot eaiser if you're not alone with him" he told her.

Blair took some deep breaths " Won't you get in huge trouble for defying the Alpha?" she asked him.

Leo shrugged his shoulders " Not likely. Once it comes out he tried to mark you and insisted when you said no. Kenneth won't punish us for keeping you safe. Our duty is to the Alpha but at the end of the day, we are meant to protect our civilians. That scum of an Alpha won't be able to punish us either, it will come out he tried to mark the poor girl he's already enslaved the other packs wouldn't stand beside him" he told her.

Ames just held onto her rubbing her hair he looked like he was on the verge of tears, or on the verge of committing murder.

" I just realized how badly I've f****d up" she told the room quietly.

" This doesn't have anything to do with you. He's been sick the second he forced you to pay off the debt this way. Looks like he fully snapped" Leo told her.

" I should've known something like this could happen. He's been so protective of you in a gross way that's also contradictory. He likes the power and knowing you will do whatever he asks. He wants a submissive mate. Also the fact he hasn't found his mate I bet he doesn't have one he's such an awful excuse for a man let alone an Alpha" Leo spoke as he rambled pacing around the living room.

" I should've let him" Blair mumbled interrupting Leo's rant.

" Blair?" Ames finally spoke as he looked at her genuinely confused.

" Say that again?" Leo asked stopping right in front of her.

" I should've let him. I just got so scared at the thought of losing my mate and being tied to him forever. He got so angry it's not my intention to defy him. It's not like I found my mate, I probably don't even have one I'm so worthless and pathetic " she spoke as Ames roughly moved her face to look at him.

" Don't you dare talk about yourself like that. You are so much more then that prick has done to you. Don't deny yourself your mate just because he's brainwashed you into thinking this is how your life should be" Ames told her as his eyes went completely black he was furious.

" It's not like you'll mark me" she told him.

Ames sighed " I'd give anything to mark you I really would. I can't risk him killing me in retaliation, you know that would destroy you. Not to mention then you would lose me forever" he reminded her.

" Right I know all of this. He's my only option. I'm happy enough with life, I can learn to love him" Blair told him.

" Blair snap out of it! He's got you so brainwashed you don't even see it. They're right!" Lyra yelled at her.

Leo grabbed onto her shoulders hard and shook her a few times " This isn't you and you know it. I know that girl is in there, just think straight for just a minute" Leo begged of her.

" For the first time in awhile I am thinking clearly" she told them.

" Blair look at me" he ordered her and she didn't turn her head.

" She's gone. I don't know how we're supposed to get her back. But we need to think fast" Leo told him.

" Blair I know that you think he's all you deserve but you are so wrong. You deserve to actually be loved, your real mate would never dream of hurting you let alone profiting off of it. Don't let him mark you please, I will do everything in my power to find your mate. I will happily lose you if it means you finally get to be treated correctly. Just please" Ames said grabbing onto her hands as he started to cry.

Blair looked at him " I've made my decision. There's no going back" she told them.

Ames grabbed onto her hand harder as he continued to cry.

" There's no f*****g way I'm letting that happen" Leo told her as he clenched his fists.

" I've had very few things decided for me over the last two years, I want something that's mine" she told Leo.

" This isn't your decision either! Decide not to let him that will be your decision " Leo told her raising his voice at her again.

Blair shook her head " I know you both don't understand but I'm thinking very clearly" she told them.

Leo snorted " You are f*****g not" he told her.

" Please don't fight me on this, either of you" she told them.

Leo gritted his teeth rolling his eyes as Ames still cried.

" Let me mark you. I actually do care about you, I've never let myself fall in love with you because i know you cannot be mine. But it will not be hard to fall for you Blair" Ames told her.

" No Ames, you deserve to find your mate. It's not too late for you, yours will at least want you whenever she finds you. There's no way my mate will want me even if I have one" she told him.

" Blair" Ames tried to say when he was cut off.

" I'm serious. I hold no sadness with my decision. Please take me back I need to make things right with him while I still can" she told them both.

After several hours of trying and begging Blair would not budge.

" You're making the wrong choice but fine I'll take you back" Leo told her.

Ames had a heartbroken look on his face as they got into Leo's truck and drove back to the packhouse. Blair took a deep breath and walked into the packhouse with her head held high and sniffed out the Alpha he was in his office. Leo followed her to the office with an irritated look on his face.

Blair knocked at his door " Go away Blair" he yelled from inside.

Blair opened the door and walked right inside " I don't want you here " Alpha told her as his eyes were very very dark.

" I just want" she told him when she was cut off.

" I don't want to see you. Stay away from me" he ordered.

" I want you" she said when he cut her off again.

" I want you gone. When I'm ready you can come around again, until that time I don't want to see you. Got it?" he asked and she started to cry.

" f*****g women are so emotional " he said rolling his eyes.

" Come" Leo said grabbing onto her arm pulling her out of the office.
