I Will Be Free One Day

A few weeks had passed and it was safe to say Blair was starting to get used to her new life. She wasn't too busy either which gave her downtime. She felt greatful that no one in the pack was paying to have s*x with her, she was only having s*x with the Alpha and then occasionally being r***d by certain warriors. She currently had three families she babysat for weekly, an elderly man who she ran errands for, and an elderly woman who needed help in her garden everyday. Ames would sneak out to see her when he was able to, but of course it wasn't as often as she would like it to be.

She woke up that morning feeling very happy all she had to do that day was help the older woman Agnes with her garden. It was also Ames day to watch her so she would get downtime with him. Blair decided to dress in a cute sundress and sandles and she opened her bedroom door to see Ames standing there. She bit her bottom lip and smiled knowing how great today was going to be. She walked past him not saying hi.

" Uh excuse me ma'am where do you think you're going?" he asked her following behind her.

" I'm running away and you can't stop me" she told him not looking back.

" Oh you think so?" he asked her when she felt herself getting lifted into his arms and he pinned her to the wall.

" Looks like your plans are foiled little girl" he told her with a smirk.

" You need to be punished for even thinking of running away" he told her leaning in to kiss her.

He got an inch away from her lips and stopped " Only good girls get kisses" he told her.

" You're not funny" she told him frustrated.

" Strange way to convince me to kiss you" he told her.

Blair took the opportunity into her own hands and leaned forward and kissed Ames and he kissed her back without hesitation. They kissed for a few seconds when he pulled away.

" That's enough of a risk let's get your day started" he told her moving away from her as his finger tips grazed down her arm.

Blair sighed and walked down the stairs for breakfast.

" Morning Blair" the Alpha said giving Blair a kiss when she came into the room.

It was fun whenever she would kiss the Alpha but kissing Ames felt right. She craved kissing him when she wasn't able to.

" I know you had a lighter schedule today but things have picked up slightly" the Alpha told her as he poured some cereal into his bowl.

" Oh what else was added?" she asked hoping it wasn't anything awful.

Blair knew it was a matter of time before an Alpha from another pack would arrive and she was terrified what he would want from her. She was also worried that pack members would start wanting to have s*x with her too.

" A woman named Edna just got her new roof installed and she wants help cleaning up after the company left" he told her.

" Wait Edna as in the woman that found out about all the debt"? she asked and he nodded.

" Yup was a fluke we even found out, no one had asked for a loan in years I had no idea. Once your two million dollars was cleared we gave her the money for the roof. There must have been a delay since it just finished" he told her.

" She's requested you there after you help with Agne's garden, you'll still get the afternoon off at least" he told her with a smile.

Once she finished breakfast the Alpha gave her another kiss and they were off to her first job of the day. Ames offered his hand and helped her into the hummer and drove off.

" Is it strange helping out the woman that accidentally uncovered the debt, which led to me being the pack's b***h?" Blair asked him as they drove.

" I don't think so. It wasn't her fault that there was this huge secret" he told her.

" Also you're no one's b***h Blair" he told her with a chuckle.

" That's up for debate" she told him.

A few minutes later they arrived at Agnes' house she had the most beautiful garden Blair had ever seen it took over her entire front yard and back yard.

" Morning Agnes" Blair said seeing she was already outside.

" Morning dear, let's get started" she said giving Blair a big smile.

Blair really liked her she was always very nice and didn't ask about what was going on with her, at the pack house. it was a nice temporary escape from reality. After two hours of watering and weeding the garden they were off to help Edna. She lived really close to Agnes so it wasn't a far drive. When they pulled upto her house she opened the door right away and gave Blair a smile.

It wasn't the warmest smile, it felt almost like regret or sympathy.

" Hi you're Blair right?" she asked and Blair nodded.

" Ok great I'm Edna, I just needed some help cleaning around the house. Lots of dust everywhere and it's hard on my lungs" she told her.

" Not a problem I'm more then happy to help" she told Edna giving her a smile as they went inside.

Her house was a little bit bigger then the house Blair grew up in. Edna handed her a cleaning rag and Blair got to work. She wasn't kidding it was very dusty in here.

Blair coughed a few times " You wernt kidding about the dust this is awful" she told her and Agne nodded.

It took about an hour for the dust situation to be taken care of " There you go Anges your house is back to normal" she told her throwing the rag into the garbage.

" Thank you so much I appreciate it so much. Can I talk to you outside for a minute? Agnes asked her.

" Of course" she said heading outside and Ames followed her.

" Um alone if that's possible" Agnes said glancing at Ames.

" Oh. Ames is actually safe to talk freely around" she told her and Agnes gave her a look.

" He's really safe?" she asked and Blair nodded.

" Ok I wanted to apologize to you. I feel awful that it was me and my stupid leaky roof that put you into this position. I feel like this is my fault" Agnes told Blair.

" It's really not your fault. It was my dad and Alpha that caused all of this to happen" she told her but she really appreciated the apology.

" But if it wasn't for me it wouldn't have been discovered " she told Blair.

" It would've come out eventually. But thank you for the apology that's very sweet of you" Blair told her with a big smile.

" Ok. Well anyway here's the money for today" she said giving it to Blair.

" Oh no you pay Harley directly. Wait Agnes this is alot of money" Blair said realizing it when she looked down.

" The construction company that did the roof quoted me too high, it actually cost them less then I thought. I want you to have it. Put it towards the debt or keep it for yourself" Agnes told her.

Blair was shocked " I can't accept this. You'll have to pay this back you might as well keep it for yourself" she told Agnes.

Agnes shook her head " My payments are alot less then yours. Mine is only money. Yours is your life. Please just take it. I wish I could give you more, its just two grand Blair" Agnes told her.

Blair sighed " Alright. Thank you so much that's very sweet of you" she said giving the older woman a big hug.

" If there's ever anything I can do for you please don't hesitate to let me know" she told her.

Blair nodded she needed to get back to the pack house it was almost time for lunch. She tried to not miss meals if she was available the cooks really wouldn't make her anything else. Ames helped her into the hummer and drove off.

" Did that really just happen?" Ames asked as he drove.

" I'm still in shock" Blair told him.

" What do you think you're going to do with the money?" he asked.

" I feel like it should go towards the debt, but I need to think of my future. I will need money once I'm finally free" she told him.

" I will be free, I need to remind myself this will not be my forever. Wether it be because I paid off the debt, or my mate finds me and takes me away. I will be free" she told Ames.

" I'm so proud of you. Truly. Once lunch is over I'm going to show you just how proud I am of you" he told her with a wink.
