Grow Up

Blair was starving and she wasn't that desperate to eat the food off of the floor. She looked at the clock beside her bed and it said ten. She quietly opened her bedroom door and tip toed down the hallway and down the stairs to the kitchen. It was a decent sized kitchen she thought, it had a double oven, a big stove and giant fridge. She really needed to explore the pack house more so she knew where everything was.
As she looked around the kitchen she realized there was no table so it must be in another room. She quietly opened the cupboards to see if there was anything, nothing. She opened the fridge she spotted a strawberry yogurt and figured that was at least something.
She closed the fridge door and was trying to figure out where the silverware was " Figured you would get hungry" came the voice of Alpha Dominic as she closed the fridge door.
Blair jumped as he startled her " I'm so sorry alpha" she said when he cut her off.
" It's fine" he told her with a smile.
" You really should eat though" he told her as he walked past her and grabbed a spoon for her.
" Starting tomorrow I want to see you eating meals. It doesn't have to be with me nessicarly, but eating" he told her handing her the spoon.
She nodded and opened the yogurt " I hired the assistant and accountant for your debt today" he told her as she took a bite of the yogurt.
" I clearly can't trust my book-keeper with this, she's part of the reason you're in this mess" he told her rolling his eyes.
" Oh?" Blair asked.
" Her wages are also being put towards the debt" he told her.
" We will figure out the cost of services soon, as well as get that auction going" he told her.
" Lucky me" she responded without even meaning to.
" Lucky you indeed, the sooner this gets figured out the sooner you can start" he told her.
" I'm really nervous about this auction" she told him and he nodded understanding.
" I don't blame you I would be nervous too" he told her as he lifted himself upto one of the counters.
" Is all of this really nessicary anyway?" she asked and he laughed.
" Of course it is, the pack cannot go bankrupt and starve. Imagine how awful that would be for our pack who did nothing wrong" he told her.
" Yes but" she started to say when he cut her off.
" But what Blair?" He asked her getting off the countertop and coming towards her.
" But doesn't this feel wrong to you?" she asked him and he shrugged his shoulders.
" It does and it doesnt" he told her.
" Don't stay up too late" he told her as he left the kitchen.
Blair sighed and finished her yogurt washed the spoon and went upstairs to her room. She got undressed and into her pjs, brushed her teeth and climbed into bed. This bed was much more comfortable then her old mattress and much bigger she could really stretch out this way. Blair was fighting sleep she didn't feel comfortable leaving herself in a vaunerable situation from sleeping. There was nothing to stop the Alpha from coming in and taking advantage of her or one of the many warriors that patrolled the pack house at night.
Without even realizing it her alarm was going off and it was time to wake up. She didn't set the alarm but someone wanted her awake at seven. She let out a big yawn and went into her closet to find clothes for the day. She grabbed a basic t shirt and some jeans, she decided to put her hair up into a ponytail today. Against her better judgment she decided to eat breakfast with the Alpha. She made her way downstairs to the busy pack house , there was so much going on just staff everywhere.
" Un excuse me, can you tell me how to get to the dinning room?" she asked an older maid who was walking by.
" Of course dear, it's just through that door" she told her pointing to the door on the right.
" Thank you" she said giving her a smile and opened the door to the dinning room.
Nobody was in there yet so she sighed and went to look out the window.
" Good morning Blair" came the Alphas voice behind her making her jump again.
" You're going to give me a heart attack " she told him breathing hard as she turned around.
The Alpha just laughed and took a seat as the food started coming out. The cooks had prepared bacon, eggs, pancakes and various fruit.
" You eat really well" she told him as she took a seat.
He shrugged his shoulders " What would you have for breakfast?" he asked her.
" Bread if we were lucky. Most times there wasn't anything to eat" she told him.
" And yet your father took one million dollars from us, that's crazy" he said as he took a bite of a pancake and rolling his eyes.
Blair sighed " I don't even know where that money would have gone to" she told him.
The Alpha shrugged his shoulders as they ate in silence.
Reamus the head of the warriors walked In went over to the Alpha and whispered something in his ear. The Alpha made a face and stood up.
" I have something to do, have a good day" he told her getting up from the table.
" Um when can I see my dad?" she asked before he left the room.
" Not for awhile" he told her.
" But I miss him" she said.
" Hey Missy shut it. He's already said there's something he needs to do. Enough" Reamus said getting irritated.
" I'm allowed to ask a question" she replied arguing with him.
" Last warning" Reamus told her as his eyes were starting to go black.
" But" was all she said when she was thrown against the wall by the throat by Reamus.
" I said enough" he yelled in her face squeezing her neck.
" Reamus stop now" the Alpha ordered coming over and removing his hand from her throat.
" You do not hurt her she is very important to me, understand?" Alpha asked him getting very angry too.
" Apologies alpha" he said releasing her.
" You will listen when you're told she's very important to me" he told Reamus.
Blair was coughing trying to catch her breath " And you will listen to. You're not a little girl anymore it's time to grow up" he said as they both left the room
Blair was gasping for breath and let out a single tear.
