  Elise rises slowly from her knees, and her eyes narrow in my direction. "I suppose I am waiting for your brother, my mate, to take his rightful place on the throne."   "You are not worthy of my brother," I growl in her direction.   "You don't know your brother at all," Elise throws her head back in a fake laugh. "He hates you."
