Macy POV
Reluctantly, I follow my mother down to her office. The Luna Queen and the twins are waiting for us inside. Winston gives me a bright smile when I walk in the door, and I can't help but smile back at him. Even though he held me in his arms all night, Edward is, once again, pretending like I don't exist.
"Please sit," Raven says sweetly.
It isn't a command, but it doesn't make me any less uncomfortable. Instead of letting me sit down beside him, Winston pulls me into his lap and wraps his arms around me. Tingles spread over my skin, and he nuzzles his nose into my neck, causing me to giggle.
Edward's head snaps in my direction at the sound of my laughter, and his jaw ticks with irritation. I don't understand what I have done wrong when he pulls me off Winston's lap
