Destin POV
I stand beside the portal, looking for any excuse not to walk through it. I just got Wren back. Leaving her again was not in the cards. It was not part of the plan. f*****g Selene has meddled in my life for the last time.
My wings twitch nervously against my back, and I suck in a sharp breath. Before I can step through the portal, a red wolf barrels into me, knocking me onto the ground.
I groan uncomfortably as I untangle myself from the wolf. The wolf c***s it's head to the side, and his tongue flops from the side of his muzzle. "Rolfe?"
