"Adrian!" Sophia jerked her head up. "You had me, and now you want to break up? What do you think I am?"
Consumed by rage, she lost all control. With all her strength, she swung her hand and delivered a stinging slap across Adrian's face!
The sharp sound echoed through the villa.
Adrian's head snapped sideways. A vivid handprint flared up on his cheek.
He slowly turned back, tongue probing his numb inner cheek. His deep eyes bore into her, unreadable and utterly still.
"You bastard!" she shrieked, trembling violently. "You'll live to regret this!"
"Are you done?" Adrian cut her off coldly. "Then leave."
He didn't even glance her way. "Show her out."
His tone was final, cutting all ties.
All Sophia's unspoken curses and threats choked in her throat.
The door slammed shut.
