“Brother, you can’t continue like this,” Killian said as he entered my room. I can’t lie; I have been sulking ever since I found out the truth about my mate.
“Leave me alone,” I grunted and chunked another bottle of whiskey.
Killian came by my side and grabbed the bottle.
“Hey! I was drinking that!” All I do is drink; that way, I feel numb. I haven’t been sleeping around. I don’t want to do that, but I am using alcohol to calm the distance pains.
Carol told me she wouldn’t accept my rejection. I secretly hoped she would one day appear out of nowhere and that we would figure things out together, but she hasn’t.
