Chapter 1: Arlen’s POV
“Let’s go, Leen; mom is waiting at home,” my younger brother Seth said.
He is the jokester, the one who tries to keep my spirits up, but I’m tired of it; I want to find my mate, like my four older siblings have. I’m almost 27; I should have found him or her by now.
I would prefer him, but if it’s her, I won’t care; I only want my mate.
“What’s the point?” I grunted as I kicked a rock. “All I’m going to do is stay in my room.”
