I was waiting for Hope to walk down the aisle. I saw Alaric take his seat, so I knew she was outside those doors. Vlad was beside me; Tori and Lillian were Hope's bridesmaids, so they had already walked down the aisle.
I wanted to help Hope with the wedding, but Lillian and Tori didn’t let me. They told me it was a surprise, and I was amazed by what they had done. The whole place was decorated with snowflakes and shimmering crystals, making it look like a scene from a dream. The soft glow of enchanted lanterns cast a magical light over the entire clearing, and the lake, frozen over in the perfect blend of nature and magic, reflected the scene like a mirror.
The sight was breathtaking, but it paled in comparison to the thought of Hope. My Hope.
