I started feeling a bit awkward around Mrs. Smith after she saw me venting out my frustration about Evan. She must have overheard my conversation with Stella, so now she probably thinks there's something between Evan and me. Later that day, she approached me and asked if everything was alright.
"Stella, if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here for you," she said kindly. I looked at her while she spoke, trying to process her words. "You don't have to feel embarrassed. Remember when you were younger, even up until you turned 18? You used to share all your problems and concerns with me. You can still do that today and in the future. I won't judge, especially if it's about matters of the heart," she smiled, as if recalling the time I confided in her about my crush on Cury when I was 15.
