At BB Mall. Mr. Walter Damian and his son were on their way to work when a thought came through his mind. "You're early today." "Yes. Something definitely feels off." "What do you mean?" Walter turned to his son in concern. "The price of BB Mall's shares are going up way too much. Don't you think?" Ace questioned. "Well, that's the thing with stocks. Mr. Walter explained. Sometimes they go up and sometimes they go down. Don't worry. This is a good thing for us, anyway." "You don't have to concern yourself with that. Instead, you should pay more attention to that scumbag!" Ace's dad added, as he eyed him and walked away. With this, Ace wondered why his dad was so interested in finding out about his cousin's girl. He wanted to know too but he haven't been able to. Meanwhile, Jade and Sapphire were served breakfast. On the table was Avocado toast along with scrambled eggs, oatmeal, coffee and berries. "I wouldn't have to come here today if not for you!" Sapphire hissed silently, trying not to attract attention of other guests. "You're so stubborn!" "Our hotel is famous for our breakfast. Many people come here just for that." Jade explained to Sapphire while the chief waiter served. "Sure, sure. Whatever!" "Wait, so...can't you eat alone over there by yourself?" She pointed to a distance. "There's no single person that recognize you here, Fire. Also, I'm the one who has more to lose from the rumours, circulating but I don't care if people talk about me. I can't control their running mouths, anyway." He smiled awkwardly at her before taking a sip of the hot, seaming coffee. "Well, that's not a surprise, since you've had scandals with so many women." She admitted and sipped water from an expensive looking Glass cup, to start her breakfast. Jade replied her with a stern look before eating. Just then, Mr. Tim saw the both of them eating at the corner. Wanting to talk about business and know who the strange girl is, he quickly walked to Jade with his usual, fake smile on his face. Sapphire looked away immediately her eyes caught him walking into their direction. "Good morning sir. The general manager would like to see you for a bit." Mr Tim started. Turning his eyes to Sapphire, like a car wiper but Sapphire threw her hair front to cover her face. She hurriedly faced the opposite corner, opening her tiny, hand bag and looking for something that wasn't even missing. She didn't want to be seen with Jade. Jade caught Mr. Tim narrowing his eyes and decided to introduce the two. "Umm.. This is Miss Sapphire Blac. We're involved in a serious relationship." Sapphire frowned at him from the corner of her eyes, unbelievable. Wondering how bold he is about her to Mr. Tim. "And this is Mr. Tim who calls me all the damn time..." Jade stopped knowing he wasn't supposed to use the word damn especially in her presence. Their eyes met abruptly as Sapphire tugged her hair to the back of her ears. Revealing her beautiful face. "I mean, ummm... The one who frequently calls me regarding work." Mr. Tim brightened his smile as he bowed to her, respectfully. Sapphire gently stood up and faced him. Then, she bowed to him too with a small smile on her face. "You must be going through a lot." "You too, Miss Blac." He replied her with an awkward look. She nodded positively as he smile widened. "Hey! What do you mean by that?!" Jade queried as he took a disgusting look at Mr. Tim. "Whatever!" He hissed before turning back to Sapphire. "Are you going to wait for me? I'll be right back." "Oh, don't worry about me. I'll take care of myself." She muttered, convincingly. "You should go ahead with your work." "Why is he calling me over when I'm eating, for goodness sake?!" Jade murmured as he walked away. "Please, enjoy." Mr. Tim whispered excitedly as he bade Sapphire, goodbye. "S-sir! Your necktie is a bit..." Mr. Tim moved closer, trying to adjust Jade's tie but he slapped the back of his head almost immediately. "Ow!" Mr. Tim cried "Don't touch me, got it?!" Jade hissed and walked away. Mr. Tim's slowly lips curved into a smile as he thought about it. Perhaps, they'd slept together. Meanwhile, Sapphire forced herself to complete the food. She loved it and it was nice but she enjoyed her homemade food, better. She couldn't eat much despite how delicious it tasted. She grabbed her bag and took a taxi back home. She didn't tell anyone about it,not even her neighbors. Telling them would add more fear into their minds and cause more noise in their very quiet environment. Thinking twice before entering, Sapphire plugged in her key as she unlocked the door. With one mind and one body, her eyes widened like a spy, trying not to be killed. Well, she was still scared of her own house for the fact that someone might still be there, waiting for her or something. She locked he door immediately she entered so no one would be able to come in, either. Walking in, Sapphire's eyes searched around her scattered room that looked as if it was turned upside down. Going to the bedroom, she let out an heavy sigh of relief as she gently placed her hand bag on her reading table. She closed the windows properly and closed the chest of drawers that was wide open. All she wanted to do was to clean up the place, at least. Seeing it tattered was heartbreaking. That morning, Jade had a meeting with several clients from within and outside the country. Thinking about Sapphire, he scrolled through his phone and texts her. "Where are you?" Her phone vibrated immediately the message got in. She quickly opened her back to check who it was as she replied him right away. "At home." Just then he called her. Incoming Call: Jade Alejandro. "Whose house?" He asked, anxiously. "I'm at my house, of course." She replied him. "You don't mean that rooftop apartment, fo you?" "Well yes." She confessed. Jade grabbed the back of his head on confusion. He hated the fact that she went back there without letting him know. "Don't move a muscle, stay right there. I mean... Leave that place right now and go to the coffee shop or something." "I'm not thirsty!" "You're not safe there, don't you get?!" "No, it's fine now. I locked the door properly, too as and it's morning-" "You locked the door properly on that day too, didn't you?!" And the other day at your neighborhood, someone robbed in the morning, right? Don't complain, just leave that place right now." With a frown on his face, Jade abruptly glanced at his Rolex wrist watch. "I'll be there in about thirty minutes. No, twenty minutes. So, fly out of there if you can." He cuts the call and grabbed his jacket. About to step out, Jade pushed the door, almost hitting Mr. Tim on the face but he gained balance. "Oh, sorry sir." Tim apologized, immediately. Placing a file before him. "Here are the materials for tomorrow's meeting." "Oh, send that to me via email. I'll read it over at home." His boss replied. "Umm... Y-yes sir." Mr. Tim stammered as Jade took his leave. Miss Barbra who managed to gulp an amount of water down her throat, turned to him in total confusion. "What could it be? Do you think it's another bomb threat?" She asked Mr. George. No way! If it were, we all would've been dead by now "And yet, he's leaving work at this hour?" Miss Barbara whined. Mr. Tim narrowed hi is eyes as if he's the new boss. With a mysterious smirk across his thin lips. "It's weekend after all. I guess a bigger bomb threat to attend to." She looked hat him even more confused. "Why is he talking in parables, now?" Miss Barbara rolled her eyes at Me. Tim. On Jade's way out. He decided to put on his navy blue jacket and button his it properly before stepping outside. From nowhere, a lady grabbed him from the back, holding unto him like a life buoy. He tiny fingers brushed through his chest as he quickly jerked off, pushing her away. "What the..." Jade cursed as he turned to see that it was Chloe.
