Aurora POV I was in the middle of pulling on my boots when the first familiar, dull ache bloomed in my lower abdomen. It was a heavy, dragging sensation that I knew all too well—the kind that signaled my body was about to clock in for its monthly shift. I froze, my hands hovering over the laces, as a sharp cramp rippled through my core. I groaned, leaning my head against the bedpost. Now? f*****g great. The timing couldn't have been worse.
