Jasmine heard his voice and her heart skipped a beat. Why did it suddenly sound like they were talking about something else instead of food?
She held his soul-piercing gaze as she thought of how to answer his question. When she couldn't come up with an answer, she tore her eyes away from his burning gaze.
Caleb eased back and let out a sigh as he tried to regain his self-control and composure. At this rate, he would definitely pounce on her and devour her for real. But just like his favorite food, he wanted to eat her slowly, savoring even the tiniest bit of flavor she had in her. He wanted to enjoy her to the fullest.
"Why do you keep calling me princess?" He heard her ask, throwing him off his previous line of thought.
