Raymond got to his house nearly mad. He kept hoping the person who sent the message wasn't the person he was thinking it to be. If not… his heart skipped a bit. He walked in silently to his room his thoughts in a mess. As he took his seat, his phone rang. He nearly died! As he picked, a intimidating voice came through the phone.
“Hey! Bastard.” Raymond held his throbbing head. It was him!
“Your hearing should still be intact I guess. I hope you saw my message…hahaha…I'm back for you. You will pay for everything you've done. I'm not going to spare you. I will kill you slowly, no one will know. Then I will let the world know the person you are, asshole.” The caller kept threatening. Without waiting to hear Raymond's voice, he hung up the call.
Raymond rested his head on the edge of his bed as blood flowed freely down from his nose. He was bleeding! His ear was not left out, blood! He cleaned them with his hand but they kept flowing down. The memory was something he will never want to remember. For sure he was going to have the nightmare again. He must not stay alone. He tried picking up his phone but it slipped to the ground. He was weak to do anything. He mustered courage, took his car key and left the room. He drove to anywhere his hands could take him. He even disobeyed the traffic. His mind was not there.
Few hours later, he stopped at a pub ready to drink himself to stupor. He got inside and ordered bottles of drink. He kept drinking till he was drunk and still he did not stop. He kept on drinking.
Princess sighed tiredly. She was done for the day and was so happy to go home. She needed to rest, the stress she now faces is so much. She got to.the counter to sign out. Her mind went to Paul, she glanced at his direction and saw him busy with a client. He signaled to her asking her to wait but she just waved. She was in a hurry to get home. Suddenly her eyes met with someone familiar! The person who almost killed her and left without apologizing. She smirked as she walked towards him in annoyance. She was going to get her revenge.
“Hey, mister…” She could not complete her statement as she gaped in shock. Raymond pulled her down to his laps smashing his lips on hers. It was as if the world was spinning round Princess. She was shocked, bewildered, taken aback. What the hell just happened? Everyone's attention in the restaurant was drawn to the young humans.
Raymond in his drunken state, kept kissing her ravenously. He was obviously enjoying her strawberry, soft, plump lips.
“Princess?” Princess was brought to reality when Paul called her. She pushed Raymond away from herself jerking up that instant. Without thinking twice, she landed a slap on his face.
“Asshole. Who the hell are you?” She asked insanely angry. Her hands went to her lips as she kept rubbing it.
“You f*****g stole my first kiss, you jerk…humph.” She turned leaving the restaurant in annoyance not even minding Paul. Raymond was still not conscious of what was going on. He picked his phone and dialed Damien's number.
“Finn…pub.” He gulped.
“Hun? What do you say?”
“Finn…pub.”
“Finn pub? Where's that?” Damien asked no one in particular.
Not long after, Damien arrived in his usual charisma.
“Gosh…you drank yourself to stupor? I thought you stopped drinking.” He helped him up dragging him to the car as Raymond kept muttering gibberish.
Raymond rolled on the bed the next day holding his throbbing head as he groaned. He sat up with a blurry eyes trying to remember the activities of the day before. Bit by bit, the memory kept coming. He opened his mouth wide. The meeting with Mr Wilson! He sprang up from bed not even checking the time. I'm a jiffy, he already got out of the house on the way to his office. He dialed his secretary number.
“Make sure everything is set, I'm on my way right now. Is he around yet?”
“Yes, he is.”
“Alright, just keep him busy. I will be there soon.” He sped up.im am hurry. He must not miss signing the contract. He must prove to everyone that he is capable.
“What the hell?” He exclaimed. There was traffic! A hectic one. He was so anxious.
After waiting for a while, he saw that the traffic might not end anything soon. He has no choice but to do what he has never done before. He got down for his car, took the necessities he will be needing and joined a bike straight to the office. In few minutes, they arrived. To his relief, he met his secretary at the elevator waiting for him.
“Where is he? Let's start the meeting now.” He said trying to enter the elevator.
“He has left.” His secretary dropped the bomb. Raymond froze!
“He has what? Who has gone? Mr Wilson?” He asked all at once. He needed to get her point straight.
“Mr Wilson has gone, sir. He said he could not wait any longer.”
“Oh no…you could have done something to stop him from going.”
“I tried my best, sir. But it was all futile.” Raymond passed her a final glance before rushing to his office to make a call through him with his heart beating fast.
“Mr Wilson…”
“My boy. I was expecting your call.”
“I just arrived at the office, sir. I'm so sorry I did not make it up to time. Can we still meet?” He asked desperately.
“I'm sorry, my boy. We can't any longer. You forfeited this opportunity already and again I'm no longer in town.” He hung up the call after this statement. Raymond's head banged, his breath hitched. What just happened? What did he get himself involved with? The company!
