I finally reached the end.
My last step landed unevenly and the moment my foot left the shattered path, my body gave out completely.
My knees hit the ground first.
Then everything else followed.
I collapsed forward, breathing uneven, my hands barely catching me before my strength disappeared completely. For a moment, everything blurred. The hall. The sigils. The voices. Even my own body.
