Maya Maya huffed an exasperated sigh, increasingly irritated by the negative turn of events just a few minutes ago. “Just what did you know?” She mumbled to herself, as she leaned against the sliding door of her bedroom, before sliding down to sit on the floor. With a resentful look, she crouched down and hugged her knees. Sebastian Ruffel, other than the newly friend she got to know, he was nowhere close to knowing what had happened between her and her father. Despite that, the person whom Maya resented the most wasn’t him, not her father. It was her herself. It wasn’t that overt of an attempt. In fact, Maya was quick to catch up the hint of affection her father showed by his silent gesture. One of them, was the change of the garden’s landscape once in awhile according to the seasons.
