Maya
“I’m home.” Maya closed the main door behind her. Ayashida popped his head out of the kitchen and greeted her welcome back.
“Did something bad happen to Mister Ruffel?” Ayashida lunged up a large rectangular bowl filled with glistening beef stew.
“Indeed.” Maya paused to look at the bowl in Ayashida’s hands. “Let’s discuss them during dinner.”
Maya returned home just in time when the bread and the beef stew finished cooking. While Ayashida set the table for the two of them, Maya cooked a simple cake topped with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkle.
“Itadakimasu.” The two were sitting on the dinner table shortly after that.
