“Man, where are you? Did you take a huge dump or something?” Hans groaned in protest through the phone. From his tone, I can conclude that it must have felt like a while since I disappeared. Though him calling me after I disappeared for almost half an hour was a worry way long overdue. I am already on the road, sitting in a car with those two burly men I met earlier. The grumpy one was the driver, while the calm one guarded me by my side as we both sat on the passenger seat at the back. They seemed pretty lenient for some reason, particularly not doing anything despite seeing and hearing me talking to Hans on the phone.
“Nah, man,” My conversation with Hans continued. “I somehow got abducted by Maya’s father’s goons. They seemed to be taking me somewhere that I didn’t know.”
