Nobody moved for a long moment after Soren said it. "Who?" Kael's voice cut through the silence, sharp and low. "Which one of us?" "I do not know." Soren wiped the blood from his lip, his hand not quite steady. "The vision broke before I could see a face. I only heard the words. Clear enough that I could not ignore them." "That is not good enough." Kael stepped closer to him, his jaw tight. "You cannot say that and walk away without more." "I am not walking away. I am telling you what I saw." Soren's pale eyes flicked to me, then back to Kael. "Believe it or do not. But watch each other carefully from now on. All three of you." He left without another word, the door swinging shut behind him, and the training hall felt smaller once he was gone. Kael did not say anything for a while. N
