We are able to go through the rest of the meeting cordially, both Angelo and I's fathers being able to discuss things in a civil manner, but of course not with subtle tension here and there, especially between our mothers. As we prepare to leave, I follow after my mother and father, just as Angelo tails me closely. I wonder what's going through his mind, especially after the meeting we've had. I wonder how long it will be until we actually begin the new syndicate...
Before we reach the front door, my father comes to a halt and slowly turns around to face us, making all of us stop as well as we keep our eyes on him. I wonder if he is pleased with what we have discussed here today, but judging by the expression on his face, it seems there is much more he wants to say.
