After staying at the hospital for three days, she didn't do anything except eat, play, sleep, and order the nurses like her won personal servants, and it felt like heaven to her. In addition, she encountered her second eldest cousin who checked on her every few hours, as his duty as her assigned doctor.
Her so called parents didn't even visit her these days, probably busy with that Xi girl.
And the only useful thing she did in those three days was to rummage on all of the memories she had received of the past owner. They had the same name, which is very useful to her because she didn't have to get use to being called other names other than her name.
She now also know why she was in the hospital. It was because she fell from the stairs "accidentally". And the reason of that "accident" was because of that Xi girl's cousin who tripped her down the stairs. The former owner and the Xi girl's cousin had some quarrel privately, and they were by chance near the stairs and she "accidentally" tripped. She KNEW that that Xi girl had something to do with this.
What's with these stairs? In the past it was also because of a stair that she was accused of pushing someone that resulted the ruin of her life, and this time too, is also because of falling from the stairs.
They were almost quite the same, as well as the issue with the stairs, if she may say so. But the only difference was, the bad things haven't thoroughly started yet.
It seems like god has given her a second chance to change her destiny, but in a different body. And it was very convenient because she wouldn't like to face those bastards in the past, and be a happy family with them. Just thinking of their unpleasant faces makes her nauseous.
Today she would be discharge, because in the end, the doctors found nothing wrong with her, so they finally permitted her to go home at last.
She laid in the hospital bed, dressed in an oversized white button-down polo, wide pants, and white sneakers, a overall normal look but still made her look like a supermodel ready for runway. She was quietly watching TV while waiting for someone to pick her up.
Minutes later Su Ye entered her room. She thought he was here again to check on her, but he came with his casual clothes which made him really good to look at. Just like a pleasant painting displayed at museums.
She looked at him questioningly but didn't say a thing.
After interacting with her these three days, Su Ye slightly knows her personality now. And it was very different from the rumors and the past cousin he met when they were younger. The person in front of him was very sharp and you couldn't help but think that she is full of mystery.
"I'm here to bring you home," he said as he started to carry her bags.
"Why?" She asked him.
"Because I'm your cousin," he told her incredulously.
"Your my cousin? Oh my, I didn't know that, and here I was, planning to hit on you." she told him as a playful smile appeared on her lips.
He looked at her incredulously, and a firm decision appeared in his head, from now on he wouldn't believe a single thing the rumors say about his cousin. What meek? What fragile? Those words probably doesn't appear on her dictionary, she way just blatantly shameless!
Talking with her like a normal person, was no use, so he just resumed to carry her things and got out of the room. He didn't even bother to look back and call for her and just walked out without care, completely ignoring her.
As he walked out on her, the smile on her lips became brighter, and there was clear amusement in her eyes. "Well, it doesn't seem bad to amuse myself as I deal with those trashes." she whispered on herself, watching his retreating back.
She got down from her bed and quickly ran to follow him like an obedient girl.
Outside the hospital, a Bentley Mulsanne waited for the both of them. Su Ye gave her things to the driver who was outside the car and he sat on the passenger seat beside the driver. Normally, people his level wouldn't seat beside the driver on a car, because only secretaries or assistants do that, but this time was an exception. He would rather sit next to the driver than sit next to his cousin, with her personality, he would probably die because of too much infuriation.
He wouldn't want that to happen, ever.
Su Lan sat on the back, quietly minding her own business, not giving him a single glance. She sat beside the window, looking at the beautiful scenery outside while she dove deep in her sea of thoughts.
'How should I deal with her family?' She asked herself, even though she now has the formers memories, but encountering them herself was different. She couldn't deal with them with just memories alone. So she planned to observe them for now, and see if they are worth for her to keep or just straight away throw them away from her life. If they aren't even a bit worth it, then she shouldn't waste her precious time on them.
She was still lost in her own train of thoughts when Su Ye opened her door. It seems that they were already here. Su Ye looked at her with his usual smart looking ass of a face and walked away.
Well, at least he bothered to open the door for her.
She got down the car with the help of the driver and the maids outside greeted the both of them respectfully. Looking at the maids in front of her, she quickly diverted her sight behind them.
'heh' she scoffed inside.
'They didn't even bother to welcome their "beloved" daughter who just came home from the hospital?' she mocked them inside her head. It seems they aren't worth it after all.
"Oh my sweet daughter! You almost worried me to death!" a loud voice came from beside her as a beautiful woman came running to her.
She was just going to dodge her by instinct, but she forced her self not to. She just stood there still, waiting for the upcoming impact.
A tight hug enveloped her as the woman rubbed herself onto her.
Su Lan's mouth couldn't help but twitch because of what she was seeing. The woman had a face full of tears, and her mouth kept spouting gibberish that she couldn't understand because it was said between sobs.
Where did this big baby come from? Did this woman escaped from a mental hospital?
She gave the woman weird looks, that was eventually noticed by the latter. Then a light slap landed on her shoulder out of nowhere.
"I was so worried about you, yet you dare give me that look." Qing Lei scolded her daughter. Realizing what she did, she got teary again and and pulled her to another tight hug.
"Oh my dear mommy wasn't thinking properly, you just came out from the hospital," she said, rubbing the place where she slapped her daughter, feeling sorry for her poor daughter who fell down the stairs.
Su Lan just stiffly stood there, looking at what is happening with raised brows.
The woman still kept on rubbing and hugging her until a man pulled her gently away. "Qing lei, Xiao Lan just came from an accident, stop acting like you already lost your daughter," the man jokingly told her.
'So this are her parents... they sure are close.'
"Yes untie, she isn't dead yet, don't act like that." a sweet and gentle voice came from behind them.
