“He can be lucky that he didn’t get put out,” the Luna says, looking at Samuel.
“Only because I declined the order,” the Shaman says as he is also the Wildlife officer of the town.
“Why didn’t you bring him here?” the Alpha wanted to know.
“When I went to fetch him, Cindy told me she already dropped him in a faraway place to ensure he does not find his way back to Luke, fearing that Officer Kieran might just shoot him down the next time he sees him,” the Shaman says.
“Let’s get him some food, he looks hungry,” the Luna says, and that makes Samuel bark.
After some meat, the Shaman gave Samuel a wash off and took him to his own house, “you will stay here with me and as soon as Luke turns 16 he will join us.”
