I was still grinning from having collected Evelyn's phone number, my thoughts spinning with the thrill of our encounter. However, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was bothering her. I had to make sure to cover my tracks so she wouldn't suspect anything.
As I watched her walk to her car, a familiar voice called out from behind me.
"There you are, Albert," the voice called.
I turned and saw Nora standing there. Surprised, I quickly swung her around to avoid her seeing Evelyn.
"Nora! What are you doing here?" I asked, trying to mask my surprise.
