*ALBERT'S POV*
This hasn’t gone the way I expected but I was determined to try again. So I bided my time as I watched her walk around the local mall picking stuff. When she walked to the payment counter, I picked up some items and joined her.
“And we meet again,” I said.
“I hope this is not the coincidence I was talking about,” Evelyn said with a smile. She was offloading her trolley to the counter.
“I have to try, you know,” I replied. I was behind someone at another payment point. At least I had time to interact with her.
“There you are!” a voice exclaimed from behind me, “I’m so sorry I took a long time. The call was from the office.”
