The guards moved as they dictated the number of guards around Kain's chambers.
They were five in number.
It felt weird to enter the citadel without facing opposition.
Things went easy until they got to Kain's quarters.
But it was even more strange to find the place guardless.
They were too dumb to think as they jumped into the passageway that led to Kain's room.
One of them kicked a door—which the seer had mentioned was Kain's room—and entered, only to be knocked out by an invisible force.
The other four saw what happened and took caution as they slowly approached the room with carefulness.
They wondered how strong the boy inside could be to knock out a guard who had been serving King Malek for over seven years.
