I pulled my car into the garage and climbed out of the vehicle. I had the permission slip for the field trip in my bag, but I wasn't going to join the rest of the students.
I did not want to go to Mississippi for multiple reasons, but the main reason I could think of the spot was Rae's parents lived there. I was sure that she would see them, and I knew Daniel would go with her and drag me along.
I saw one of our maids toss garbage bags into the dumpster as I went to unlock the door.
