88: ugly lies. *** The faces of my parents were priceless. They looked shocked, and my mom began to cry when she laid eyes on Elias. "You're a man now," mom cried, wrapping her arms around Elias. Elias stood awkwardly, and it took a few seconds to hug my mom back. My mom stood up for him. I watched as they communicated. I watched as my dad called Elias his third son. As I saw them react to him, I thought back to when I saw him for the first time. I was not too fond of his personality, but it became a mask. He built a wall to guard his feelings because he was scared to be alone again. I watched as they asked about everything Elias didn't want to talk about, but I smiled when I saw that he answered all of their questions. "How is your dad?" - He is excellent, back on his feet.
