The first thing I did after waking up was to turn on my phone. The moment it was on, it constantly buzzed as the notifications started to pour in. I unlocked it and saw I got a few missed calls from John along with some texts. My lips moved and smiled on their own. I immediately called him back, but he did not answer my call. Since he did not answer, I texted him asking whether he was feeling okay or not. My stomach made stupid noises, indicating I was in dire need of some food.
