King Of The Werewolves
Landon's P O V :
I was pacing back and forth in my room. I wasn't sure if my mate would come to the party or not. What if he would only come to deliver the pastries and would not stay a minute once his work is finished ?
" Relax, you are giving me a headache ", Allister groaned annoyedly.
" How can I relax ? I am f*****g stressed here and why are you so chill ? ", I asked my smart ass Wolf.
" I am chill because I know my mate. I know he will definitely come ", he replied smugly.
" How are you so sure that he will come ", I asked him again.
" I just know. No one is able to resist the mate bond, so he can't resist it either. Just chill and plan an awesome party ", he said before retreating back to the corner of my mind.
I decided to put my faith in Allister and planned an awesome party. I wasn't sure whether he drank or not. That's why I arranged both hard and soft drinks. The party planner took care of everything and finally it was half past six. I took a shower and put on denim jeans and a black shirt. From my hair to my shoes, I made sure I was in my best look today. After checking myself in the mirror, I went downstairs and started welcoming a few people. Most of them were professors and some were students. I was frequently checking time and getting restless.
" Will you just shut the f**k up ? He will come, he has to ", Allister growled loudly in my head and I was about to say something to him when my nose caught the faint smell of him, indicating he was here. As soon as I saw him, I went straight to him and took the package of pastry from him. He gave me the present he bought for me.
" There was no need for a present but thank you so much ", I said to him. He was trying to leave but I forced him to stay and enjoy some soft drink. When I saw him going for a drink, I quickly went upstairs and kept his present safely inside the locker. I went downstairs and started mingling with other people, keeping an eye on my mate, hoping for the right time to talk to him. When more people started to come in, I saw him approaching me. He wanted to leave but my work hadn't been done yet.
" I wanna show you something magical ", I said loudly.
" What magical ? ", he asked, looking confused.
" Just come with me ", I said to him, and dragged him all the way to the roof by holding his hand. Thousands of volts of electricity ran through my body from the mere touching of his hand. As expected, the roof, the night sky and the shining stars did the trick.
" Just tell him everything you dumb ass ", Allister growled.
" You know very well why I am a bit hesitant to tell him ", I said to him.
" Don't worry, our mate seems like a very reasonable and wise person. He will not make any rash decisions like you dumb ass ", he said.
" Are you absolutely sure about this ? ", I asked him again.
" Yes I am sure, so just quit stalling and tell him you dimwit ", he growled angrily.
I looked at my mate and saw how quietly he was enjoying the sky. As if he felt my eyes on him, he immediately turned back and looked at me.
" What ? ", he asked me very softly.
" I want to tell you something ", I whispered.
" I kind of figured that out ", he said, chuckling.
" If you are not going to tell him now, then let me out. I will tell him everything ", my wolf Allister growled again.
" Do you know my name ? ", I asked him.
" Yeah, it's Landon something right ", he said, taking a step further.
" That's just a part of it. My real name is Landon Wolfric Ulrich ", I said.
As I expected, the color of his face paled when he heard the word Ulrich.
" Ulrich as in Ulrich university ", he stuttered.
" My father built that institute after the great war. I am not just any Alpha Werewolf, I am the king of the Werewolves, only living pure blood royal werewolf ", I whispered.
I was about to take a step further towards him but he stepped back.
" Don't ", he said in a heavy voice and right there I knew I had f****d up.
