I thought about everything that happened a few minutes ago. The thought of someone, regardless of their species, trash talking about my mate behind my back made my blood boil. Allister was growling angrily, and I was far from calm. As I put on my clothes, I decided over and over again what I should do. I patiently waited outside his house, and saw him coming out. His eyes were still puffy and he looked tired. He gave me a tender smile as I opened the door for him.
" Heyy ", I cooed.
" Hii ", he whispered.
I kissed his forehead and started the car. We arrived in a few minutes. This time, I didn't let him walk alone, instead, I walked with him, hand in hand, all the way to his first class. I gave him a kiss on his forehead and bid goodbye for now.
