I was bored on watching the weather news on the television. I sighed and turned it off. I decided to stand up. I walked to the strong bamboo veranda outside my Aunt Gina's little native resthouse in the Province of Iligan, in the second largest island in the Philippines, Mindanao. We were on a vacation with my friends. I looked at my yellow wristwatch and saw that it was just eight sharp in the cozy breeze of morning. The wind blew refreshingly as my blue blouse moved, feeling my very skin. The bermuda grass grew abundantly as it was brushing all over around the resthouse. Reeds grew taller than my Aunt Gina's flowers in her garden. Beside it was a little poultry house for her little white chickens. The cheerful chirping songs of the birds played in my ears.
