August paced outside the room door. She couldn’t stop herself from biting her fingernail again as nerves started to get to her. Why did he have to be here of all places? She gave the door a side-eye as if it would magically divide into two and she could confront Lucifer on his own. As her mind turned to the other inhabitant of the room her breath left her in a hiss as the dream came back to her full force. She took a step away and put a hand on the wall to steady herself.
