At Nathan’s words, Gideon started to dream up some suitable deaths for the so-called demon ruler. He didn’t care who he had to fight, he wasn’t about to let August be taken advantage of by something so corrupt. “Her soul?” his words came out in a low raspy growl. “You’re overreacting,” Lucifer objected. “August, you know I’d never lie to you. Your friend just needs to heal.” Gideon snorted. “So you’re saying you don’t have her soul?” The glare Lucifer sent his way would have melted a lesser being but Gideon just grinned at him. “I am keeping it safe at this time, I wasn’t sure if we would make it in time before they did something truly awful to her. I owe her much, I would never harm her. You’re misunderstanding on purpose.” He accused as he took a step towards August with his hands up.
