Senna was far from happy that the plan they had constructed had been torn apart so easily. He could sense the sheer power from a number of those that were guarding the area. For one, he didn’t want to go anywhere near that vampire, or the ancient wolf. As it was he had retreated to back up Max who looked like he had seen a ghost and turned back to his human form.
“What’s going on here?”
Max looked over at the other. “Bad news.”
“It’s not like we’re discovering any other kind here.” He glanced back at August and his sigh torn at his heart. “I wanted to save her.”
