Chapter 26

1341 Words

Antalya’s POV I barely managed to close the bathroom door behind me when I heard the lock on the main door turn. My whole body went cold. I hadn’t seen anyone in the hall a moment ago, but now Dominic’s men were there, blocking my only way out. My heart pounded so hard I thought they could hear it. I hesitated, biting my lip. I didn’t want to face Dominic—not after everything he’d done, not after what he’d done to Raymond. But I knew running was useless with those two brutes standing guard. There was only one person who could get me out of this now—and it wasn’t me. Dominic stepped inside the room, filling the space with his shadow and arrogance. He locked the door behind him, his eyes glinting like a wolf’s in the dark. “Looking for a way out?” he asked, his voice silky and dangerous.
